After the relentless effort, Super Falcons of Nigeria finally lost to the host country, Morocco on penalty shootout (5 – 4).
They did all their best to qualify for the Final stage of the On-going 2022 Women’s Africa Cup of Nations (WAFCON) hosted by Morocco, but all efforts was to no avail.
Despite the absence of the 2 key players, the Nigeria team were still able to compete with their Moroccan rival team till penalty stage.
Players such as Ajibade, Rasheedat, Plumptre, Keeper Chiamaka and others are being celebrated and appreciated despite the lost.
